We are the Caskey's..... Guy, Kelli, Rachel and Candace. We live in the Subarbs of Houston, Texas. We are looking forward to adding a new additon to our family.
My husband and I traveled to Addis Ababa Ethiopia in September of 1999. We were invited by a group of friends to explore the culture and deep history in Ethiopia. Since our first trip our heart was captivated by the people in Ethiopia. Their amazing joy and how hard to work to survive. It made me realize how much we take for granted.
Since that first trip we had thoughts of adoption from Ethiopia. Timing was never right but we continued to pray and see what God wanted. Our two daughters are a little older now and we feel we are all more prepared to adopt. Our oldest daughter travled to Ethiopia the summer she turned twelve. This adds to her prepardness, helping her to see first hand the place where her future brother started his life.
We can't wait to bring home our new son. Journey together with us.
